Compression Sock Jungle

So far, I haven’t had to wear compression socks—but my husband George does. And let me tell you, that has turned laundry day into quite the adventure.

Once a week, our bathroom transforms into something resembling a tropical jungle—except instead of vines and leaves, we’ve got compression socks of every color dangling from every available surface. Since they can’t be dried in the dryer, they get hung up like prized trophies, stretching from shower rod to towel rack.

And they’re not just any socks. These are the largest size they make. George has big feet and long legs, which means his socks look more like superhero costumes than everyday laundry. Picture an array of knee-high rainbow banners fluttering around the room. It’s less “spa retreat” and more “sock safari.”

I sometimes think I should charge admission: Step right up and witness the mystical forest of XL compression socks!

The good news? At least it keeps laundry day interesting. After all, not everyone gets to say their bathroom doubles as a compression sock jungle.

Enjoy this video of the adventure!
