I'm sure you have known someone in your life that was your "traffic commentator". This is someone who is constantly giving you an update on what that SUV just ran a red light. That little beat up car is texting while driving because they are not staying centered in their lane. That older person should not be driving. They are driving way too slow!
As long as the two of your are in the same vehicle there is a constant, ongoing discourse on the abilities and skills of all other drivers within the field of vision.
My commentator used to say it was all those "Tucson drivers". That is until we moved to Idaho. Now it's all those "Idaho drivers". Mind you, the observations are accurate. I just perceive them as really unnecessary.
I don't think I really need to know what every driver around us is doing incorrectly! I would be good with a nice conversation about . . . . gardening . . . . . or art . . . . . or music . . . . . . or Biblical principles.
In the defense of my traffic commentator; he did spend close to 30 years of his life as a professional driver.
Let me know if you have any traffic commentators in your life.
