My most recent video I posted a little over a day ago got quite a few comments. Nobody seemed to believe that a grandmother would really be changing out her old graphics card in her PC for a new one. Many of the comments were saying that the video was totally done by AI and that the voice also was AI generated. I find that hilarious. It is something I basically dealt with the entire time I worked in IT (until HP hired me. They did not discriminate against me and made me feel like one of the team.)
There are so many different minorities out there complaining about being discriminated against. I know it is very different, depending upon the type of discrimination, but for me the answer seemed to be to just prove them wrong.
I ended up working in IT up until I retired over 5 and 1/2 years ago now. Again, I am quite amused by those who cannot possibly rationalize the idea of an older woman actually doing IT work.
