Created with the Help of Tech
Savvy Tech Grandma blends creativity with cutting-edge technology to create beautiful, thoughtful objects from her own original designs. She crafts Linkels - her unique take on NFC tags - and designs laser-cut and engraved pieces that turn modern tools into meaningful art. She’s also stepping into the world of 3D printing. Her first custom designs were Christmas cookie cutters but there will be many more creations on the way.
Alongside her making, she’s developing new videos to teach others how to use tools like the laser engraver and 3D printer, continuing her passion for learning, sharing, and creating.

Savvy Tech Grandma is a lifelong learner, problem-solver, and creative at heart. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the age of 50, proving that it’s never too late to follow a new path—especially one rooted in helping others. Her love for guiding people through frustrating technology challenges led her to teach technology to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Arizona and Idaho, where she made complex ideas approachable and confidence-building for learners of all ages
.
Before retiring, she spent over six years at Hewlett Packard as a technical support engineer, supporting users with patience, clarity, and care. Alongside her professional life, she raised four boys, putting much of her own creativity on hold while balancing work and motherhood. In retirement, that creative spark has finally found space to shine. Today, Savvy Tech Grandma shares both her tech wisdom and her handmade creative offerings in one place, selling her creations to make room for new ideas—and inviting others to learn, explore, and be inspired along the way.
